Every year, the Shadowlawn Civic League votes in new members to fill the roles of our board.

We help organize meetings and events, and hope to create and continue

special memories in the neighborhood we call home.

Blake Roberson

President

Resident since 2012

Blake is a Lieutenant in the Chesapeake Fire Department but spends his spare time fishing, boating, surfing, snowboarding, and spending time with his two boys and wife.

Meghan Roberson

Vice President

Resident since 2007

Meghan, a Virginia Beach native, is the Owner and Director of Anchor ABA and mother of two boys. She loves traveling, spending time with family, and will take any excuse to get people together.

Patrick Cerone

Treasurer

Resident since 2018

Originally from Annapolis, MD, Patrick now feels Shadowlawn is home after the military so graciously brought him here with his wife, Kate, and three children, Olivia, Owen, and Luke. A career Submarine Officer, avid sports fan, and world famous brisket smoker, Patrick is excited to represent what he calls "the best neighborhood in the world."

Connie Strickland

Secretary

Resident since 2021

A North Carolina native and a new face in Shadowlawn, Connie jumped into the role of Secretary to serve her new community. Connie is mother to 4 children and grandmother to 7 little ones. In her free time, she spends her days cooking and biking.
